I love this photo. It captures the spirit of a bygone age in my life, when I was obsessed with Honda MX bikes, and a chance to see Magoo race one.
I was 13 years old in 1984 and had a 1983 CR80R. Seeing you on that CR500R will always be a simply breathtaking and awe-inspiring site for me. You have touched my life, Danny.

Danny,you are the crazest rider I loved to watch.Ball’s out all the time.Go big or go home!!Before every race I put on your video and it gets me pumped.I ride a big 500r to.There’s one pic in the video where your coming through a right hand turn on the rear tire just Rippin.Your the best I wish you all the best with your new van,cause I no it’s going to happen for you,you my friend deserve it and more God bless you

Danny, all my life I heard about “Danny Magoo” from my father, who grew up in Forest Hill, CA. I never knew how great you were until I looked you up for myself. The stories my dad told about you will carry on. I have an 84 CR 500R that I got from my dad, and I look at it completely different after I saw this picture. I wish you the best.
