‘DAWG’ WILL HUNT’!! Danny.At.Wohlen.Gaildorf.’82. I recently heard that danny’s BALLS are so big,when he flew to heaven,The Man said, Dude,we’re going to have to Upgrade,wasn’t expecting that luggage ! AAAAAAAHH !! RIP. Fan for life… BRAAAAAAAAAP !

I really cherish the days I got to spend with Danny. His cards were always on the table, he did not hold any punches. He always told it like he saw it, whether it was a popular choice or not. He loved his fans and wanted them to know he was just like them, an average guy. Spent alot of time with Danny in Parsons & Pittsburgh Kansas where he visited frequently. We tore up the Crawford county strip pits on his Honda’s, one of the most memoreable riding moments I have ever had. Hung out with him after his “82″ win at the Carlsbad USGP, I asked him how the race was and he said he took 1st place, he did not say another word about it, didnt brag or boast at all. I didnt realize until years later the importance of that race to him personally and to his career. Its hard to be here without you Danny but, I know you’d want us to press on and push safety for you and wheelchair access and visibility at all racing events. We can all be asured now that God has his hands full with Danny up there runnin around!!!!! These are not my last words about Magoo.

I remember it too Erick. First my friend Kevin, then Magoo, it was too much for the young me. I went out that day and rode all day in the pouring rain, crying, (that Magoo was hurt), laughing (that I wasn’t), feeling guilty, but mostly telling myself, Magoo wouldn’t be scared of some rain, and lightening. I ran out a tank and a half of gas in a thunderstorm that day. RIP Danny, the REAL Magoo.

Just wanted to say what a nice guy Danny was. A friend and I went to visit(stalk) Danny when he was in Chicago in ’79. He sat and talked to us like we had known him for years. Great guy.
